F.M Radio Circuits and links

THE MOST GREAT THING YOU CAN DO IS USE RADIO WAVES AROUND YOURSELF AND ENJOY.
HERE ARE SOME COLLECTION OF FM RADIOS OF IC'S & TRANSISTORS.
YOU CAN WONDER HOW IN TODAY'S TECHNOLOGY, BECAUSE OF DIGITAL CHIPS THE RADIOS CAN BE IN ALL CONSTRUCTED SIZE OF A BOTTON CELL, THATS OF A CLEAR AND VERY HIGH FREQUENCY.
IF YOU HAVE HABBIT OF CONSTRUCTING A FM RECEIVER YOU CAN TAKE ANY OF THE CIRCUITS AND TRY AND ALL THEY WORK.
IN MARKET, I AGREE THAT SOME OF COMPONENTS LIKE INDUCTORS, VARIABLE CAPACITORS, OR IC'S MAY NOT AVAILABLE BECAUSE OF DIGITAL CHIPS WHERE WHOLE RADIO IS CONSTRUCTED IN A SINGLE CHIP. BUT DON'T WORRY I WILL HELP YOU IN TELLING ANY ALTERNATIVE.OK -

HERE ARE SOME IC CIRCUITS-

2) TDA7000 FM Radio Receiver Circuit Using Tuning Capacitor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION The TDA7000 is a monolithic integrated circuit for mono FM portable radios or receivers where a minimum on peripheral components is important (small dimensions and low costs).
The IC has an FLL (Frequency-Locked-Loop) system with an intermediate frequency of 70 kHz. The i.f. selectivity is obtained by active RC filters. The only function which needs alignment is the resonant circuit for the oscillator, thus selecting the reception frequency. Spurious reception is avoided by means of a mute circuit, which also eliminates too noisy input signals. Special precautions are taken to meet the radiation requirements.
The TDA7000 includes the following functions:
· R.F. input stage
· Mixer
· Local oscillator
· I.F. amplifier/limiter
· Phase demodulator
· Mute detector
· Mute switch

With a minimum on peripheral components we can build a high performance and small FM radio receiver .

Wideband FM VHF Receiver

This Wideband VHF FM receiver uses a common TDA7000 IC and will tune between 70MHz and 120MHz. 200mW AF power into a 16ohm speaker is gained using a TBA820 O/P IC. Both inductors L and L1 should be the same using 22SWG. For 70MHz 6 turns on 7mm former quite closely wound, 100MHz 5turns and 115MHz 4turns. The gain of the receiver drops of considerably after 110MHz. Datasheets are available. Look at my Technical Info page. The 90pF Tuning Capacitor is actualy two trimmers in parrallel. The main one being 22pF Variable Capacitor and a 75pF Trimmer.

HERE IS MY FIRST FM RADIO USING TDA 7000 WORKS VERY WELL AND WITH LOUD SPEAKER.
